Orchard Central

Located along Singapore's prime shopping belt of Orchard Road, Orchard Central is Singapore's first vertical shopping mall with 12 levels sheathed in a full glass iconic façade and a distinct 160m stretch of street-fronting shops.

The mall exudes edginess through its sculptural exterior with pockets of space carved out in the form of outdoor verandahs and recessed façade. Numerous vantage points have been melded into the mall — a series of open-air escalators and landings and landscaped roof decks, to encourage shoppers to explore the surrounding city as one travels upward and through the building's skin.

Orchard Central has a collection of contemporary artworks especially created by well-known local and international artists for the mall and its specific spaces. Together with its building’s design forms, art and architecture are integrated to engage visitors deeply with a sense of space and enrich the mall’s multisensory appeal.
