Aurea at Golden Mile Singapore

Golden Mile Complex, one of Singapore’s and Asia’s first mixed-use developments, was a pioneer of live, work, play integration within a single complex. The first of its kind to be gazetted as a conserved building in Singapore, Golden Mile Complex will be rejuvenated as The Golden Mile with retail spaces, offices and medical units. A new residential tower, Aurea, will be built adjacent and linked to The Golden Mile via an elevated link bridge.

Through a thoughtfully planned conservation process, the adaptive reuse strategies for The Golden Mile focus on restoring the retained historic fabric whilst managing change with deep sensitivity. To celebrate the distinctive architectural elements of this tropical megastructure - such as its iconic stepped form, characteristic atria, distinct oculus-shaped elements, facade bands, and localised mosaic tiled floors – these elements will be meticulously restored. The Golden Mile carefully integrates a new extension on top of the conserved building, offering additional workspaces. Introducing this new element to the historic building creates a dialogue between past and present, refreshing it for contemporary uses. Designed for continual relevance, The Golden Mile will not only remain a cultural and architectural landmark, but also a vibrant lifestyle hub for our community. It will house a wide spectrum of retail, F&B, medical units, collaborative workspaces, and a Community/Sports Facilities Scheme (CSFS) space intended to house an Architecture and Heritage Centre – where the past, present and future of Singapore will be showcased and celebrated.

Aurea, the new residential tower adjacent to The Golden Mile, has its name derived from the Latin word for “golden”. It not only reflects Golden Mile Complex’s legacy in name, but also in its design language and spirit. Envisioned as a biophilic urban residence that celebrates tropical urban living, Aurea offers exclusive homes that connect with heritage as part of the mixed-use development, yet provide modern elegance and luxurious comforts, set against panoramic city and bay views. Residents will enjoy refined living with easy access to dining, shopping, and entertainment, all while surrounded by a harmonious mix of urban vibrancy and natural tranquillity.

Strategically located within the Downtown Core, framed by the revitalisation of Beach Road and the Ophir-Rochor Corridor, Aurea also enjoys a prime location at the southern end of the North-South Corridor, offering easy access to key areas such as Orchard Road, the Central Business District, and Marina Bay.

Excellent transport accessibility from the development provides unparalleled connectivity and ease of travel. The close proximity to Nicoll Highway, Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) and East Coast Parkway (ECP) ensure quick access to various parts of the island.

In addition, Aurea's strategic location near Kallang connects residents to a dynamic lifestyle hub, energised by the Kallang Alive Masterplan, announced at the National Day Rally 2024. With an upcoming 18,000-capacity indoor arena and a pedestrian-friendly boulevard at the Sports Hub, residents will enjoy a vibrant mix of sports, entertainment, and community activities close to home. Nature lovers can explore Kallang Riverside Park, while the nearby Kampong Glam district offers rich cultural, art, and dining experiences.

A joint venture development by Perennial Holdings and Far East Organization. Development information such as pricing and floor plans will be available at launch.
