The Far East Experience
Growth & Community at the Heart of the Workplace
At Far East Organization, we recognise our people form the backbone in achieving our business objectives and milestones. We are, therefore, delighted to share that we have been honoured with four HR awards this year, appreciating our effort and commitment to creating a supportive, inclusive, and meaningful workplace for all. These accolades from the Singapore HR Awards and HR Excellence Awards represent what matters to us - our people:
• | Gold Award for Excellence in Total Rewards and Recognition |
• | Gold Award for Excellence in Total Rewards and Recognition |
• | Silver Award for Excellence in Workplace Culture and Engagement |
• | Bronze Award for Excellence in Employee Volunteerism |
Here's a glimpse into Far East Organization’s workplace and community.
Diversity in Recognition and Rewards
Everyone is different and so are each person’s needs. It is thus important that we design our rewards to recognise, develop, and look after the well-being of our people.
Our Gold Award for Excellence in Total Rewards and Recognition reflects this commitment to acknowledging hard work and enthusiasm. We want our people to feel valued, whether it's through performance bonuses or leadership development opportunities. Or it may be simply saying thank you for a job well done. The Balanced Scorecard Approach ensures we reward achievements and how they are achieved by living out our values of trust, integrity, and stewardship.

Prioritising Well-Being
Although work is just one part of life, we work to create a supportive environment that helps our people become the best versions of themselves at home and at work. Our Silver Award for Excellence in Employee Experience and Well-Being recognises the care and resources put into supporting the well-being of our people.
Crafting wellness together by unwinding and recharging with fun, hands-on activities that nurture creativity and physical well-being.
This translates, in practice, into flexible work arrangements, mental health support, and access to an Employee Assistance Programme offering confidential professional counselling on an as-needed basis. We do believe in the power of listening. Hence, we regularly solicit feedback to make sure our initiatives are meaningful. In 2023, we achieved a 91% in our employee engagement score, showing that our people feel supported and valued.
A Culture of Belonging
Meet Cao Li, Assistant Manager of Group Administration, who enjoys learning new skills and attributes her growth to her ‘I can do it’ attitude.
Creating a workplace where everyone feels they belong is essential to us. Earning the Silver Award for Excellence in Workplace Culture and Engagement demonstrates our dedication to building an environment where everyone is welcomed and valued to contribute meaningfully. We embrace diverse perspectives and encourage innovation because we know that when people come together, we can create something better than anyone can achieve alone.
We are also passionate about continuous learning. Whether it is through our Leadership Competency Framework, mentorship, or simply working alongside colleagues. We are here to help our people grow in their careers.
Making a Difference Through Employee Volunteerism
We believe in inspiring better lives for our people and our community. This Bronze Award for Excellence in Employee Volunteerism reflects how much giving back to the community means to our identity.
Building communities and creating connections to bring joy, support and care to those who need it most.
Through our Caring Hearts programme, we regularly organise various volunteer activities, from supporting disadvantaged families to overseas missions that help disadvantaged communities. In 2023, we partnered with organisations like Morning Star Community Services and Gracehaven Home to organise beach cleanups, zoo trips, and a special visit to Bird Paradise with the youths. Our volunteer team has also travelled to the Philippines in support of nutrition and literacy programmes for children within poor urban areas and built homes in Batam, Indonesia. These are opportunities that enable us to make a difference and, at the same time, connect with colleagues, develop new skills, and experience the fulfilment that comes from giving back.
